PM Huddle #28 - What a crisis can teach us about planning & prioritisation
In the years leading up to the COVID-19 global pandemic businesses were starting to shift investments towards digital transformation programmes. These were often large multi-year transformation programmes.
With growing case counts, lockdowns and a need for mass working from home if businesses wanted to continue to operate they must digitally transform, and they did so, in many cases implementing significant change in just days or weeks.
What can this teach us about how to think about prioritisation in the context of Product development? Daniel will walk through the concepts and takeaways that this live example that touched every business and every consumer can teach us and how it can be applied in day to day product management.
Our special guest speaker Daniel Walters will be sharing this topic with us all the way downunder, from his new homebase - the beautiful New Zealand.
